Clay County, Florida
The Davis Family and The PARC Group have recently announced plans for a new master-planned community in Northeast Florida.
The property was recently purchased by the Davis Family, the landowners of both the award-winning Nocatee and eTown communities. The PARC Group, Master Developer of Nocatee and eTown, will develop the over 3,000 acres in Clay County, Florida for a master-planned community with an estimated 4,000 homes and a mixture of retail and office uses.
"Nocatee has been recognized as one of the best-selling communities in America, and we look forward to working with The PARC Group in Clay County on this community," said Jed Davis, President and CEO of DDI, Inc., the family-owned entity involved in the purchase of the property.
The timing for development will be tied to the completion of the new First Coast Expressway, which is currently under construction in Clay County and is scheduled for a connection to Interstate 95 in St. Johns County. PARC's vision for the community will include a focus on lifestyle, including recreation, nature trails, and a dedication to preservation and conservation.
"We look forward to contributing to the future of Clay County," said Roger O'Steen, Chairman and Founder of The PARC Group. "We have had numerous productive discussions with the leadership in the county and look forward to working closely with them as we develop plans for the new community."
