Nocatee has been ranked as the nation's 3rd best-selling community for the 3rd consecutive year. According to real estate advisory firm RCLCO's 2016 Mid-Year Update, Nocatee's mid-year sales of 616 homes (a 2.5% increase YOY) solidified its top 3 ranking. Nocatee is just behind mega-retirement community, The Villages, and Irvine Ranch in Los Angeles, California.
RCLCO's annual report attributed Florida's "robust employment" and Nocatee's mixed product offerings as major, contributing factors in Nocatee's consistent and continual growth. This year alone, Nocatee added 5 new neighborhoods bringing the total of actively-selling neighborhoods to 18. Nocatee's Greenleaf Preserve, Greenleaf Village and Willowcove neighborhoods all sold out this year.
As of June 2016, over 5,000 Nocatee families enjoy an unparalleled lifestyle that features world-class amenities. Nocatee's extensive Greenway Trails System was expanded earlier this summer with new electric-vehicle friendly paths that further connect village-like neighborhoods to each other, Town Center and Splash Water Park. Two new amenities in Nocatee's beautiful Twenty Mile area also opened: Twenty Mile Park (situated in Twenty Mile Village, includes a shallow-entry pool, pavilion, and dog park) and Twenty Mile Post (nestled between The Crossing and The Outlook at Twenty Mile).
The Nocatee Town Center also experienced a year of exciting additions and growth. Skinner Bros. Realty opened a new retail building that includes Dunkin Donuts, MShack, Pieology, Verizon, Supercuts, and Big Fish Yoga in the second quarter of 2016. Town Center Town Plaza Offices also welcomed Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery, Grace Conservatory, Wise Women Gynecology, and several other professional office condos. Starbucks, Tijuana Flats, Noire Nail Bar, Crosswater Dental, Gate gas station, and Chase bank will join the bustling Town Center early next year.
