On December 9th, The St. Johns County School Board confirmed plans for four new schools, including a new kindergarten through eighth grade school in the Nocatee community. This new school joins Valley Ridge Academy as the second SJC school in Nocatee to open in recent years. The exciting addition reinforces the importance of education in the Nocatee Lifestyle.

The school’s exact location in Nocatee is expected to be finalized by early 2016.

When St. Johns County confirmed the addition of the new schools, News4Jax reported that the county hopes to have three schools open for the 2017-2018 school year and “construction is expected to begin in May.”
