The St. Johns County School District has unveiled more information about its new K-8 school in Nocatee. Sitting on 25 acres of land, K-8 School "MM" will be located just south of the Crosswater neighborhoods, at the intersection of Crosswater Parkway and Pine Island Road. The PARC Group will facilitate construction on the Crosswater Parkway extension in order to ensure that Nocatee residents have easy access to the school site.

K-8 School "MM" is the fourth school site that The PARC Group has donated to the St. Johns County School District. Palm Valley Academy (2018), Valley Ridge Academy (2014), and Ponte Vedra High School (2008) are all schools that Nocatee students can attend.

Nocatee's newest school will be engineered to support both conventional and progressive learning environments by allowing for organization by age group or multi-age groups. Facilitated through a team teaching approach, multi-age group learning will be made possible with the help of movable walls. The school will also accommodate room for technology labs and kitchen areas, providing flexibility for instructional methods.

The St. Johns County School District projects the school opening for the 2021/2022 school year. Zoning of students has not yet been released and will be determined by the School District at a later date.
