Welcome back to The PARC Group's 'Team Member Spotlight' blog series! After interviewing Marketing Coordinator Lauren Witkovich, we caught up with The PARC Group's Welcome Center Manager Donna Lundgren to discuss what kind of experience visitors can expect at the Nocatee and eTown Welcome Centers.
Hi, Donna. Thanks for connecting with us this afternoon! To start, can you tell us about what you do at The PARC Group and what you enjoy most about your role?
I serve as the Welcome Center Manager for the Nocatee and eTown Welcome Centers. What I love the most about my job are my coworkers, and the opportunity to meet and work with new friendly faces on a daily basis. I truly enjoy being a part of a vision and something that's always growing. It's really special to see that come to fruition.
Can you take us through an average day at the Nocatee Welcome Center?
After opening procedures are completed and coffee machine warmed up (yippee), we begin welcoming our first guests of the day at 10 AM (Monday through Saturday). The rest of the day is dedicated to being readily available to prospective home-buyers. In the Welcome Center, we discuss actively-selling neighborhoods, amenities, and more while giving a Nocatee Overview to visitors. We also offer NocaTours, guided golf-cart tours, that give families an up-close look at the master-planned community's Greenway Trails and resort-style amenities. It's also a responsibility of the Welcome Center team to be answer questions via phone call, website chat, Facebook messenger, and other digital channels.
What about at the eTown Welcome Center?
Because eTown is not as large as Nocatee, we are seeing prospective buyers come in a little bit further down the home-search journey than our Nocatee visitors. They're often coming into the Hub and Welcome Center looking for a specific builder, neighborhood, or floor-plan that they have seen online, and trying to find out where that's located. We're seeing a lot more local buyers in eTown because they truly love the location of the community and the convenience to everything Jacksonville has to offer.
Who do you work closely with?
I act as a liaison between The PARC Group, Nocatee, and eTown. I work closely with the Director of Marketing at PARC and the marketing team, as well as my two teams at the Nocatee and eTown Welcome Centers. I'm pretty well-connected to everybody.
What are some Nocatee and eTown additions that you're excited to tell people about when they come into the Welcome Centers?
In Nocatee, our team is extremely excited to tell visitors about the water park expansion. That's huge news that excites current Nocatee residents, so we know that it will excite the Nocatee Welcome Center visitors too. Also, the serenity adult pool and the racing slides - they are just too fun not to mention and very exciting to share.
As for eTown, we are thrilled about the amenity center, Recharge, that is slated to open in October. It will feature a resort-style pool, high-tech fitness center with outdoor yoga lawn, rooftop patio, dog park, and more. We also get a lot of questions about eTown's Town Center, The Exchange. People that visit seem to be curious about what is going to be available to support the community. We just made an announcement last week that Gate will be one of our first official patrons at The Exchange, so we're excited to tell people about that.
